 1.  McCracker Takes a Vacation: And Other Outrages (SIGNED BY AUTHOR)
Woodward, Tim Boise, Idaho, U.S.A. Fenwick Books 1984 First Edition Hard Cover Very Good Very Good Grady Myers (Jacket Art) Signed by Author
; 201 pages; First Edition/First Printing; Book block is tight with no names, no marginalia; SIGNED BY AUTHOR on title page; Wine-colored cloth boards with title in gold on spine, slight spine-roll; Unfaded pictorial dust-jacket with modest shelf wear including nicks (three 1/3" close-tears top-edge, 1/2" close-tear bottom left of back panel); We have placed the dust-jacket in a protective, removable, clear mylar cover; .....(When this book went to press the author Tim Woodward was beginning his tenth year as a newspaper columnist and he was still enjoying the creation of his 'McCracker' stories, that perennial victim and seeker of vacation mishaps whom he had introduced in 1978. Here are those lovable and quirky characters: the long-suffering Mrs. McCracker, Harvey Schwartz the ultimate outcast, Skunk (Harvey's friend and partner in crime), Lucinda Snaklebaum and of course Maggie, the McCrackers' intemperate and utterly worthless watchdog. Readers are humorosly warned that the finest of lines separates the world of normalcy from the world of the McCrackers {with 'Other Outrages' comprising subjects from the'Montana Merchant Marine', which pays telephones on jetliners as a self-help club for people who are overly burdened from being too attractive, and also included is a 'Seriosity' section for non-comic relief, as well as a miscellaneous section for the stuff that wouldn't fit anywhere else. And just to mention one more thing from the author, it seems that at time of printing that confusion still existed in the minds of some readers with regard to McCracker's actual identity, which other readers appeared to know all too well, but as for any former, the author states that the answer is contained in these pages.}
