(The author Richard Feynman was one of the greatest physicists of the twentieth century and this book helps to tell about a man who possessed a delightful and unquenchable thirst for adventures as well as a rare ability to tell the stories of his life. It is at once a book wise and reminiscent, but there are lighter moments as well with some of it being told through letters. It is a story including the two people who influenced his life the most - his father who taught him how to think and his first wife, Arlene who taught him how to love, even as she lay dying in an Albuquerque hospital while Feynman worked nearby on the atomic bomb at Los Alamos. The second half of the book is Feynman's behind-the-scenes account of the investigation that followed the space shuttle Challenger's explosion in January 1986 and the reader comes to know in detail (through the eyes of a great scientist) the confusion and misjudgement that plagued NASA in those years. This is a rare opportunity to read this record in his own words.)
