Edor Burman lived for long periods in the rugged north woods of Sweden and here describes Ramti's life, who at one time led a protected life as a cub, but then loses his sister when an eagle attacks, and then his mother. During wild winters and bright summers he has many adventures, but finally Ramti finds his own family. Written simply with lovely illustrations by Harald Wiberg who was regarded as a foremost illustrator of nature & wildlife in Scandinavia.)
